This thermometer-like gauge indicates the current vaporizer (DEL) setting. It may also be used to adjust the vaporizer. Drag the colored portion of the gauge up or down with the left mouse button to adjust.

The vaporizer adjustments differ from most of the other controls in the Picture view: They don't necessarily change all the other DEL settings in other views to match. (see Multi-agent Simulations for an explanation).
